Dreams, Visions, Monsters is a series of ceramic objects featuring illustrations of imaginary beings from the artist’s universe. Strange monsters, wondrous worlds, a search for home, love, rage, and humor intertwine to create a narrative that is both personal and fantastical. Each piece invites viewers into a vivid realm where emotions and imagination collide.
Maria Motyleva is an illustrator, conceptual artist and educator. She studied illustration and plastic arts at Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual in Lisbon. Her works are exhibited in Switzerland, Portugal, Russia, Georgia and currently in MNAC, Lisboa.
