These objects were created in the first year after moving to another country, away from home, when the idea of a home had to be rebuilt from scratch. When you start living in another country, you cannot surround yourself with objects and comfort that you are used to, so you start assembling your new home from small things. What constitutes the concept of a home, what objects form your tactile habits and do you become attached to them? Is a home away from home possible?
